We always treat them like one of our own children and ensure we take very good care of them. We make sure we include them in all family activities so that they feel part of our family. We help them with their homework and encourage the development of their English speaking skills.<\/p>\n

One of our main concerns is for their safety and we would not allow them to do anything that we are not comfortable with our children doing.<\/p>\n

We endeavour to show them some of our Aussie culture and give them a \u2018real\u2019 Australian experience during their stay with us. We want them and their parents to feel happy, safe and secure while they are so far away from home.\u201d<\/p>\n

International Study Tours<\/strong><\/p>\n
Japan Study Tour<\/strong><\/p>\n
The Japan Study Tour takes place every two years and has been running for the last 15 <\/del>25 <\/ins>years. The trip incorporates homestay experiences with both Frankston\u2019s sister city, Susono and Frankston High School\u2019s sister school, Kawaguchi Kita High School. It also provides an opportunity to participate in extensive sightseeing around Kyoto, Osaka and Hiroshima and visits to Mt Fujiama and Tokyo Disneyland.<\/p>\n
Our sister school visits us every other year. Students who participate in the trip have the opportunity to host the student who hosted them in Japan. Taking part in this program is a life changing experience for the students involved.<\/p>\n
France Study Tour<\/strong><\/p>\n
The Frankston High School French Trip is a three week educational tour of Northern France for students in Years 9-12. The tour starts in Paris, with students immersing themselves in the culture and history of the capital, before embarking on a bus tour through Brittany and Normandy.<\/p>\n
The visit concludes with a week\u2019s stay in Orl\u00e9ans hosted by our sister school, Lyc\u00e9e Jean Zay, where students have the opportunity to extend their stay as an exchange student. Orl\u00e9an is located in the beautiful Loire Valley, an area known for its magnificent Ch\u00e1teaux and stunning scenery.<\/p>\n
It is steeped in history from the battles of Joan of Arc to the reign of Napolean. In addition to enhancing and consolidating their French language studies, students learn in detail about the art, architecture and history of France.<\/p>\n
