Enrolment

Year 7 Enrolment

If your child is currently enrolled in a Victorian Primary School, the application procedure is as follows:

  • Early in the year you will receive a letter and Application for Enrolment form – Year 7 from your child’s primary school
  • On this form you will list the schools you would like your child to attend in preferred order – two choices
  • The primary school will forward applications to Frankston High School
  • In August the primary school will notify parents/guardians of the results of the application
  • Please note that Frankston High School is not able to disclose the results of the application process to parents/guardians prior to being informed of the results by their primary school in August
  • It is not possible to apply for a place in Year 7 before your child is in Grade 6
  • If your child lives outside the Frankston High School designated zone, an Out Of Zone Application Form must be submitted to the primary school with the Application for Enrolment form. A very limited number of places may be available
  • Out Of Zone Applications can be obtained from our information sessions
  • There will be only a very limited number of Out of Zone places available
  • Families residing interstate and overseas when their child is in Grade 6 are advised to contact the school to make a direct application

Year 8 to 12 Enrolment

  • If a student resides outside the zone and is interested in enrolling at Frankston High School it is recommended that contact is made with the school to explore enrolment opportunities
  • At all times course choices from Year 9 onwards may be limited since priority will be given to currently enrolled students

Out of Zone Enrolments

  • Frankston High School has a designated neighbourhood zone
  • Proof of permanent residence within the school’s designated neighbourhood zone will be required for all applications seeking a place on residential criteria
