The Frankston City Council Australia Day Awards were held on Friday 26 January at the Frankston Arts Centre. At this ceremony Eilis Peters received the prestigious award of Young Citizen of the Year. This is a wonderful achievement and is in recognition of the values held by Eilis and her leadership skills and community involvement. Eilis received a commemorative certificate by the Mayor, Councillor Colin Hampton and she will be involved in a range of Frankston City projects and events throughout the year.
