Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars

It is with great pleasure that I announce that Year 10 students Ellie Morton and Eily Walker are the recipients of the prestigious Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program.

Ellie and Eily will join a select group of students to receive support and special access to the resources of the University of Melbourne.

Eily and Ellie were selected for this program based on their outstanding academic performance and leadership skills.

The Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars Program is a three-year academic enrichment program designed to assist high-achieving students in realising their full potential through creating a network and community of students. These students will have the opportunity to participate in an extensive program of events and activities, including lectures by leading researchers and seminars with world class teachers.

The program was established in 2007 and is named in honour of eminent scholar, leading educationalist and former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Melbourne, Professor Kwong Lee Dow.
